Privacy Policy

Draft notice: The operator and contact details below are placeholders and must be completed before this policy is published.
Deletti helps you review and manage photos and videos in Apple Photos. This policy explains how the current app handles information and how this website works.

Access to Apple Photos
Deletti asks for permission to read and make changes to your photo library. It uses the photos and videos you allow it to access to display media, sort by size, build groups, compare similar photos and carry out actions you choose.
It reads media metadata such as identifiers, file sizes, dates, dimensions, duration, favorite status and media type. It can also read location information already attached to a photo or video, including coordinates, for media details and classification. This is existing photo metadata, not live location tracking.
You can change or revoke Photos access in your device’s Settings. If access is limited, Deletti can only work with the items Apple Photos makes available to it.
Analysis on your device
Photo comparison and classification use processing on your device, including Apple’s Vision framework. The current app does not send your photos, videos or analysis results to a developer server. It does not include third party advertising, analytics or crash reporting SDKs.
The app’s privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types. Local processing of your media is still necessary for its features.
Information stored locally
Deletti stores preferences and working data on your device. This includes media identifiers, classification caches, duplicate groups, photo quality scores, review decisions, Trash selections, saved progress, game progress and deletion statistics. It also reads available disk space to show storage information.
These records let you continue reviewing without starting again. Temporary copies can be created when you share or trim media. Removing the app normally removes its local app data. Your device backup settings and Apple’s backup services may affect retained backup copies. Deleting the app does not undo changes already made to Apple Photos.
iCloud and Apple services
Some previews, playback, sharing or editing operations may ask Apple Photos to download media from iCloud. These transfers use Apple’s services and are governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s Privacy Policy. On device analysis does not mean every feature works without a network connection.
Actions you choose
When you confirm a deletion, Deletti asks Apple Photos to delete the selected items. If iCloud Photos is enabled, the deletion can sync to other devices. Sharing uses the destination you select in the system share sheet. That destination handles the shared content under its own terms and privacy policy.
Marking an item as a favorite changes its status in Apple Photos. Saving a trimmed video adds media to Apple Photos.
Support messages
If you contact support, the operator receives the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message and attachments. Avoid sending private photos or videos unless needed to explain an issue.
