Find answers about your camera roll, iCloud and what happens when you delete.

I cannot see all my photos

Check Deletti’s Photos permission in your device’s Settings. With limited access, only selected items are available. You can allow more photos or full access if you want to review your whole camera roll. Also check the active filters inside Deletti.

Why does a preview need to load?

The original may be stored in iCloud. Apple Photos may need a network connection to load a preview, play a video or prepare it for sharing or editing. Check your connection and the app’s iCloud preview settings.

What happens when I swipe left?

The item goes to Deletti’s Trash. It is not immediately deleted from Apple Photos. Review your Trash, remove anything you want to keep, then confirm deletion in iOS.

Can I recover something I deleted?

If the item is still in Deletti’s Trash, remove it from that selection. If you already confirmed deletion in iOS, open Recently Deleted in Apple Photos. Apple normally keeps deleted items there for 30 days, unless permanently deleted sooner.

Recovery is not guaranteed. Apple notes that items can be removed immediately when your iCloud storage limit has been exceeded. See Apple’s iCloud storage guidance for current details.

Will deletion affect my other devices?

Yes, if you use iCloud Photos with the same Apple Account. Deleting a synced photo or video removes it from the other connected devices too. See Apple’s guide to deleting photos.

Why has my available space not changed yet?

Deleted items can remain in Recently Deleted. Apple Photos and iCloud may also need time to update. A media file’s full size is not always the amount stored on your device, especially with optimized iCloud storage.

If you choose to permanently remove items from Recently Deleted, review them carefully first. You cannot recover them from that album afterward.

Does Deletti clean editing projects or app caches?

No. Deletti manages media in Apple Photos. Drafts, projects and caches inside other apps must be managed in those apps.

What does “Best” mean?

It is a suggestion to help you compare a group of photos. It does not decide for you. Check the images and keep the one you prefer.
